We are having a traditional Indian wedding, so wear your bright colors and come prepared to sing, dance and eat! Try to arrive by early Friday afternoon so you can rest up and enjoy all the weekend festivities.
Friday, August 24th, 6:30pm, Sangeet
Sangeet means “singing together” in Sanskrit. This will include dinner, singing, dancing and mendhi (traditional henna decoration of the hands) for all the ladies

Saturday, August 25th, 9am – 10:30am, Wedding Ceremony
This will be a traditional Indian wedding ceremony. At 9am, the groom’s side or “baraat” arrives to be welcomed by the bride’s side. There will be music, dancing and then the party will make its way to the canopy or “mandap” where the bride and groom are guided through a Vedic ceremony by a Hindu priest. We are hoping to hold this outside by the pool. In the event of rain, this will be moved inside to the clubhouse.

Saturday, August 25, 11am – 3pm
Following the wedding, we will be having a wedding reception. This will be held at the same venue as the wedding.
